Emmy Award winner Jaime Pressly starred as Joy Turner on the television series “My Name Is Earl,” for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and two SAG Actor Awards and won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
Pressly starred in numerous feature films, including “I Love You, Man,” “A Haunted House 2,” “Not Another Teen Movie,” “Ticker,” “The Adventures of Joe Dirt,” “Tomcats,” “Beauty and the Briefcase” and “Austin Found.”
Her notable television credits include starring roles in “Jennifer Falls,” “I Hate My Teenage Daughter” and “Jack & Jill,” and guest starring roles on “Rules of Engagement,” on the Network, and “Raising Hope.” Additionally, she starred in a multi-episode arc on “Two and a Half Men,” on the Network, and voiced a character on “Phineas and Ferb.”
Pressly optioned her first book, Dear Carolina, and she’ll star in and executive produce the adaptation. Pressly released the book It’s Not Necessarily Not the Truth in 2009, about the importance of dreaming bigger than the town you’re from.
